  1.  No person other than Cemetery personnel shall open any niche.

  2. No person other than Cemetery personnel shall open any niche.B. No person may remove or place anything inside a crypt or niche without express permission of the Cemetery.

  3. No flowers, memorials or other items may be left on the ground in front of the niches. All such items will be removed and disposed of without notice.

  4. No markings may be made on any niche surface unless approved by the Cemetery.

  5. Only Urns will be allowed in a Niche and are subject to approval by Cemetery personnel.

  6. Only cremated human remains are allowed in niches.\

  7. Niche engraving is single-style and all names and dates must conform to this policy:
    1. Only the first name, middle initial, and last name is allowed with the years (only) of birth and death centered underneath.
    2. The first name centered and engraved on the faceplate will be that of the person who is to be inurned first.
    3. Each faceplate can accommodate two names with the years underneath and the surname at the top of the face plate, for a total of five lines on each plate. There will be a 1-inch margin all the way around the plate.
    4. All lines and names will be centered.

    6. The only font allowed is Baskerville.
    7. Letters for the surname will be 1¼ inch high. The first name will be 1 inch and the dates will be .90 inch high for a total of 5 lines on each plate. When the surname is greater than 9 letters, the character size may be condensed to avoid reducing to a smaller letter size.
    8. If condensed letters don’t allow for adequate spacing, surnames will be reduced to 1 inch to accommodate the name on one line.
    9. In the event that a niche is bought by two people with different surnames, all letters will be 1 inch to accommodate the extra line on the cover plate.
    10. Veterans who purchase niches will be allowed to mark the niche plate with a small medallion offered by the veteran’s marker program placed in the left bottom corner. Size allowed will be 2”x1½”x1/3” which is the small medallion on VA Form 40-1330M.

  8. If a niche is destroyed or damaged for any reason, the Cemetery Committee may cause any remains interred therein to be either promptly interred elsewhere in the cemetery or delivered on written request to the rights-holder of the niche, or temporarily placed in a secure location pending restoration of the niche.
